Only a president this cool...

...could get away with yukking it up with NBC's Matt Lauer before the Super Bowl, while at the same time trying to save the world from terrorism, the economy and the super evil that remains the BCS.

I got this post today from whitehouse.gov (yes, I subscribe. What, you dont?)

"As the Steelers and Cardinals faced off in Tampa, congressmen and senators from the teams home states crossed party lines – and team loyalties – to join President Obama at the White House."

Well isn't that nice? I'm sure they served little elephants in a blanket along with some donkey themed appetizers as well...one can only hope it wasn't actual donkey.

To add to the excitement, the Super Bowl gave the president, rooting for the Steelers, yet ANOTHER reason to make fun of John McCain, sweet!!

But I must admit the best part of the White House post was that they included the entirety of the Matt Lauer interview...it included this question:

Q Do you have a Terrible Towel in the other room?

...lets pause for a second to consider how that question might have been interpreted had it been asked to Bill Clinton.............
............and we continue

THE PRESIDENT: I do, actually, so
Q Are you going to be waving them at the party?
THE PRESIDENT: I’m not going to be rubbing it in, we’ve got some Arizona congressmen here and I may need their vote on the recovery package. (Laughter.)

How cool is this president? A White Sox fan, an advocate for a playoff in college football, and he actually has a terrible towel!!
Four more years!!! Four more years!!!
