So let's just say you're in love with a girl, or a guy...no, actually let's stick with girl, much hotter that way any way you slice it.

Now this girl happens to be dating someone else and although they might actually be interested in you too, they feel bad about leaving their partner. So what would you do?
Go after another girl who also used to date that same person, duh!

That's exactly the situation the Montreal Canadiens are finding themselves in as we speak.

Reports out of Montreal are claiming that if the Habs can't land Vinny Lecavalier, they might be interested in pursuing former Lightning and current Dallas...er Star, Brad Richards.

Makes sense to me...if you can't get one superstar player who will cost you $7.727 mil under the cap, get an inferior player who will cost you $7.8 million under the cap, but for nine fewer years.

Why haven't more teams employed this sure-fire, Cup-winning strategy?
