Heavy Rumor


Philly would give goalie Martin Biron and forwards Scotty Upshall and Joffrey Lupol to Phoenix for goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and d-man Derek Morris...

I'm hearing this from a lot of sources. It may not happen exactly like this, but it looks like these two teams are talking about getting a deal done.

Philly would get that puck-moving defenseman they're looking for as a rental and Phoenix dumps Morris (who they will 100% trade today) and get two young forwards who have underachieved, but have potential for a small price in return. Lupol and Biron are pending UFA's while Upshall has four more years at $4.25 million.

Bryzgalov has two more years at $4.25 million as well.
